When you become a member of Emerald Coast Equality, the Escambia County Chapter of the Florida LGBTQ+ Democratic Caucus, you’ll have a resource for information on important public policy issues that affect your future. Our meetings are open to all Democrats and provide a chance to interact and learn about political and legislative issues affecting you and the LGBTQ+ community.
You will have opportunities to meet periodically with elected officials and other community/political leaders, actively exchange ideas and perspectives, and educate them about the needs of our community. Our allies are an important part of our extended community and
are always welcome.
Membership is open to any Democrat registered to vote in the State of Florida supportive of the objectives of the Caucus. Your membership confers the right to vote for caucus officers, board members, bylaws amendments, and any other issue put to the
general membership.
SINGLE MEMBERSHIP ($25.00)
HOUSEHOLD MEMBERSHIP ($40.00) Available for two members from the same household.
YOUNG DEMOCRATS ($15) This is a new category for those age 18-30.
STUDENT MEMBERSHIP ($5.00) is available for full-time students enrolled at a school, college, or university.
Dues paid between October 1 and December 31 cover the current and following year.
Scholarships: We do not want financial barriers to impede participation. If due to hardship you would like to seek a scholarship, please email emeraldcoastequality@gmail.com and we will be happy to have that conversation on a case-by-case basis. (Scholarships may be limited to available funds.)
